Local session commands
Session discovery, conversion, search, and continuation are provided by txcript and mounted directly into skl. Session content stays on this machine unless you explicitly give it to another process, such as an MCP client.

List local sessions, newest first.

Without --cwd, the command searches every supported session store on the machine.

Search local transcript content. A pattern prints ranked results; no pattern opens an interactive picker.

The interactive picker continues the selected session when you press Enter. Pass --with <AGENT> to continue it in another agent.

Render a local session as compact text.

Ranges are 1-based and inclusive: #7, #5-12, #5-, and #-10 are accepted.

Resume a local session in its original agent or create a translated copy for another agent.

Same-agent continuation resumes the original session. Cross-agent or ranged continuation creates a new local session and leaves the source unchanged.
Authentication
Authentication is not needed for local session commands.

Run first-time setup or repeat it later. It offers to sign in and install shell completions.

Use browser login by default. Device login works on headless and SSH machines and is selected automatically where appropriate.

SKL_TOKEN takes precedence over stored credentials when it is set.
skl whoami and skl logout

logout removes the credentials file. It cannot remove an SKL_TOKEN environment variable.

The ignore list does not currently filter skl list, skl query, skl view, skl continue, or MCP session tools. Use --cwd and --from to scope session commands.
Commands that do not exist
Current releases do not provide skl upload, skl auto, skl watch, or a functional skl workspace command. The CLI does not publish coding-session transcripts to Skillsync. upload exists only under skl skills upload and publishes a skill.
